Our Philosophy

The Colonial House, Inc. program provides a loving and healing transitional community for any chemically dependent individual who needs and wants help. Our healing force is love, our guiding source - the community's wisdom and experience, and our ultimate strength - the sharing of hope.

We believe our responsibility is to provide a variety of services to the English and Spanish speaking community.  As a team we dedicate ourselves to motivating our clients to seek change and work towards their goals.  We believe that given the opportunity, people can and will make positive changes in their lives.


DUI Education Classes are offered one weekend per month.  Spanish and English classes are available.

Court Reporting Network evaluations are offered in Spanish and English.

Anger Management Education
Anger Management education group provides an alternative to mental health treatment.

Outpatient Group
Education on the biological, psychological and social aspects of chemical dependency. 

  • 1 session a week for 12 weeks
  • 2 individual sessions throughout 12 weeks.  More individual sessions as needed. 
  • Offered in Spanish and English.

Relapse Prevention
Didactic and process group for clinets to learn triggers and develop coping skills along with healthy discussin of day to day stresses that lead to relapse.

  • 1 group session a week for 12 weeks.
  • 1 individual session twice a month
  • Offered in morning or evening
  • Offered in Spanish and English
  • Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

Intensive Outpatient is a total of 18 weeks.  The first 6 weeks are 3 group sessions a wekk for 2.5 hours with one weekly individual session.  Upon completion the client will step down to aftercare/relapse prevention, which consists of 1 group session per week for 12 weeks and 2 individual sessions per month.  We offer one evening of gender specific groups.  All groups are offered in the mornings and evenings.  Offered in Spanish and English.  

Treatment at different intensities to best suit your needs:

  • Assessments at affordable rates.
  • Group sessions for individuals who have abused substances and for those struggling with dependency.
  • Men and women groups are offered.
  • Couples and family sessions scheduled according to need.
  • Assessments are provided:
  • Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
